Me As Captain Kangaroo! (The Late Bob Keeshan)
Who very sadly passed away in
January of 2004.
Me and the Captain, along with
Mr. Moose, Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Green Jeans,
Mr. Bainter The Painter and Dennis too, as well as
Dancing Bear, Grandfather Clock, Bill Cosby
& His Picture Pages, and a slew of other guests
at least a country mile long,
grew up together and I spent many a morning glued to
the tv set as this genius of a man
entertained and delighted
me and several other generations to boot.
Rest assured you are sadly missed Bob, and
Goodnight Captain. To you sir,
May you Rest In Peace.

I remember watching Captain Kangroo but I actually don't remember what his shows was about.. I guess you could say I'm getting old that I forget.. :)

I used to watch Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans was my favorite. Too bad kids don't have clean shows like that to watch now.
